A plastic bag for your...camera!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you wanted to take a picture and suddenly it started raining?

Going for a shooting and on your way you realised that the weather is shit?

Wanted to get that awesome  shot but the rain wouldnt let you because you were aftraid of your camera?

On my trip to Scotland, i realised that the weather is quite unpredictable!

I really wanted to get the shot above, but it was really pouring. The slight fog you see its actualy from the rain. I  didn't want to get my brand new DSLR wet of course!

So i was looking in the plastic bag infront of me to fisn something to eat while waiting for the rain to stop.

Few minutes later after i had eaten everything i realised that the rain is not going anywhere.

I looked at the bag and then it hit me. I had seen before this cool gadget that protects your camera from rain. So i though what if use the plastic bag in the same way?!

And it worked!

It's not the best protection you can get, i know, but still, its something you will probably have even when traveling or you can simply put it in you bag since it takes minimal space.

Let me show you how you can use any plastic bag to cover your camera, when needed.

You are gonna need a plastic bag and your camera! (Duh!)

Open a hole in the corner of the plastic bag!

and put your camera inside!

Pass your lens through the hole

and you are good to go!

Prety simple and easy! You can watch the the whole procedure in a video down!

Quite an inexpensive way to give that extra protection to your camera when you need it.

Plus a plastic bag can always come handy when you are out there shooting, like using it as something to put your camera on, when you try to stabilize it on the ground.

For those who are constantly shoot under rainy conditions of course you might consider investing in a proper rain cover like this!

The rest of us we can always keep a plastic bag in our bag!

Till next time, happy shooting!
